Deep design is the process of translating conceptual furniture drawings into production-ready technical documents. It accounts for actual site dimensions, structural connections, material compatibility, transport segmentation, and installation sequencing. An experienced deep design team identifies and resolves issues before production begins, preventing costly on-site mismatches.
Step 1: On-Site Measurement and Data Collection
Deep design starts at the construction site, not at a computer. Professional designers use laser distance meters and levels to record wall dimensions, ceiling heights, door and window positions, electrical outlets, and plumbing routes for every single room.
The key principle here is completeness and precision. Hotel projects often involve hundreds of guest rooms, and civil construction tolerances can vary from room to room.
